Data Collection

EPA launched the project Data Collection with the purpose to obtain a better understanding about basic statistical figures of the parking sector at European level. This project is coordinated by Antoni Roig.

The Applied Economy Research Institute of the University of Barcelona (UB-IREA) Fundacio Bosch I Gimpera produced afirst report on the EPA estimations in July 2011.

Phase II concluded with the report “EPA’s model improvement and design of a new survey” in November 2011. This report refinated the model, estimated a new overall parking spaces market size for the EPA country members, and designed an improved questionnaire, which EPA now uses with the intention to collect more data from the European cities.

In case of any questions do not hesitate to contact us via email  – info@europeanparking.eu – or by phone +34 933 308 709.
